Job Summary:

We are seeking a technically proficient

IT Application Support Analyst

with hands-on experience in

C# and/or Python programming

to support our banking application, trading platforms and internal systems. You will monitor live systems, resolve issues, and contribute to automation and tool development during non-standard hours. This role is critical to ensuring uninterrupted support coverage for our banking and trading operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide

Level 2 support

for real-time FX trading platforms (MT4/MT5, FIX gateways, pricing engines, risk systems).

Monitor trading systems

, pricing feeds, and liquidity connections to ensure smooth operations.

Diagnose and resolve technical issues

, such as trade breaks, system errors, and connectivity failures. Perform

system checks

, log reviews, and scheduled job monitoring. Write and maintain

automation scripts

or support tools in

C# or Python

to streamline support workflows or reporting tasks. Tools development in

C#

to support operations. Maintain

support documentation

, shift logs, and detailed handovers to the daytime team. Coordinate with

global teams, developers, and vendors

for issue escalation and knowledge transfer. Analyze logs, queries, and data to assist in

root cause analysis

and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. 2+ years in IT application support within a

financial services or FX trading

environment. Proficient in

C# and/or Python

with ability to write scripts or maintain small tools, utilities and internal application. Experience supporting platforms like

MT4/MT5

, FIX engines, or custom trading systems. Familiar with

MySQL

and Linux command line tools. Experience with

Microsoft Azure

(Virtual Machines), Amazon AWS (Virtual Machines) and

PowerBI

. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and documentation skills, especially for shift handovers. Self-driven, accountable, and comfortable working independently during night hours.

Preferred/Bonus Experience:

Exposure to

FX trade lifecycle

, pricing engines, and liquidity aggregation. Experience with core banking application. Familiar with

FIX protocol

, API integrations, and ECNs. Experience with

log aggregation tools

(e.g., ELK Stack, Graylog) or monitoring systems (e.g., Zabbix, Grafana).

Work Conditions:

May require

on-call support

or weekend availability on a rotating basis. Must be able to work independently, making informed decisions under pressure.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
