Key Responsibilities:

• Gain a deep understanding of the digital insurance sector and apply this knowledge to architecture and design documents.
• Research new technologies, platforms, and design patterns relevant to business needs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders on digital projects and proposed solution architectures.
• Create technical design documents to direct development and delivery.
• Mentor development teams on best practices.
• Ensure that development aligns with architectural designs.
• Oversee the technology solution process from design to delivery.
• Provide technical leadership to delivery teams, including senior developers and business analysts.
• Make practical, delivery-oriented technical decisions.

Key Requirements:

• Over 15 years of experience in IT across various disciplines.
• Previous experience in Applications Architecture within the insurance or financial services sector.
• Extensive experience with modern technologies and application integration approaches.
• Recent project experience with UI/UX technologies, APIs, and systems integration.
• Development experience in Java and JavaScript.
• Up-to-date with Agile delivery and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of architectural methodologies and standards.
• In-depth knowledge of current fullstack development (Js frameworks), API design (REST/JSON), and application integration technologies.
• Familiarity with data modeling and database design.
• Proficient in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, including Containers, Lambda, and RDS.
• Good communication skills
