Job Summary

:

The IT Asset Management Analyst is responsible for managing the lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring accurate record-keeping, support for end users, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. This role ensures compliance with asset policies, supports hardware/software provisioning, manages insurance renewals, and prevents audit findings.

Job Responsibilities:

Update records in a timely manner and ensure accuracy of asset records in ITAM system. Oversee laptop delivery logistics, prioritizing urgent requirements; collaborate with HR for onboarding and offboarding. Asset registration and create tagging with correct naming according to asset type Update and monitor the asset inventory. In charge of assets movement. (within Menara Sunway or onsite offices) Arrange and prepare assets required by user to technical team. To update, maintain and ensure filing is done for asset related documents (Transfer form, Delivery Order, Custodian Letter). Coordinate on the asset buyout process (Missing asset, buy back asset) for any requesting BU. Process and coordinate asset termination and asset disposal. Manage the IT store room and act as store keeper. Perform physical count for all the IT equipments (perform every 6 months). Ensuring the safety and functionality status of all hardware in stock, including projectors, PCs, and laptops. Stock keeping of standby Unit / Parts/ Peripherals item. Responsible for asset booking and monitoring. Attend tickets related to new asset purchase, asset termination, asset disposal and software assignation. Act as an Admin to assign Microsoft and Autodesk license. Prepare report on hardware and software. Visit site office for any assets physical checking when BU admin require. Outline e-SOP and submit to management for approval. Perform any other related duties as and when directed by superior.

Requirements

Candidate should possess a Diploma / Advanced Diploma, Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Computer Science / Information Technology. Preferably at least 2 year of related working experience. Good communication skills in English, Malay language for both spoken and written. One year contract role.
