Provide daily technical support to end-users (onsite and remote).
Respond to helpdesk tickets, diagnose issues, and ensure timely resolution.
Troubleshoot and repair desktop PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
Perform software installation, configuration, and updates (Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.).
Manage user accounts, passwords, and access rights (Active Directory, email systems).
2. Network & System Maintenance
Assist in monitoring and maintaining LAN/WAN network performance.
Troubleshoot network connectivity and Wi-Fi issues.
Support setup and maintenance of routers, switches, and firewalls.
Perform routine server monitoring and backup verification.
Ensure antivirus and security updates are current on all systems.
3. IT Asset Management
Maintain an updated IT asset inventory (hardware, software licenses, accessories).
Track IT equipment movement, usage, and disposal.
Ensure IT resources are efficiently utilized and comply with company standards.
4. IT Projects & System Upgrades
Assist in implementing new IT systems or hardware upgrades.
Provide testing and feedback during system deployment or software rollout.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT procurement, warranty claims, and maintenance.
5. Cybersecurity & Data Protection
Enforce IT security policies and best practices.
Support implementation of data backup, disaster recovery, and access control measures.
Educate staff on cybersecurity awareness and safe digital practices.
6. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of incidents, IT procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Prepare periodic reports on IT activities, equipment status, and system performance.
Document configuration details for network and system setups.
7. Other Tasks
Support telecommunication systems (e.g., IP phones, video conferencing tools).
Provide technical setup during meetings, training, or company events.
Assist IT Manager in planning budgets or recommending hardware/software purchase
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of working experience in IT support, system maintenance, or similar roles.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge in Windows OS, Microsoft Office, networking (LAN/WAN), and basic server management.
Familiarity with Active Directory, email setup, and backup systems is an added advantage.
Basic understanding of cybersecurity practices.
