We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
IT Assistant
to support our daily technology operations and ensure smooth functioning of our IT systems across the organisation.
Role Overview

The IT Assistant will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support, troubleshooting issues, maintaining hardware and software, and assisting in IT projects.

Key Responsibilities
Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues for all staff across HQ and branches.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
Assist in setting up new user accounts, email accounts, and access rights in line with company policies.
Monitor and maintain computer systems, networks, and servers to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving hardware/software faults promptly.
Support implementation of IT policies, data protection protocols, and cybersecurity measures.
Perform regular backups of critical data and assist with disaster recovery processes when required.
Keep accurate records of IT assets, including inventory, software licenses, and warranty information.
Coordinate with external vendors for hardware repairs, software updates, and service contracts.
Assist in the setup and operation of audio-visual equipment for meetings, training, and presentations.
Provide training and guidance to staff on basic IT systems and security best practices.
Support IT Manager in special projects such as system upgrades, network improvements, and software rollouts.
Who We're Looking For
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
At least 1-2 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical assistance role.
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, and basic networking concepts.
Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting, printer maintenance, and LAN/WAN setups.
Good understanding of IT security principles and data backup procedures.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach to resolving issues.
Willing to travel to company branches when necessary.
