This IT Audit Consultant will be taking part in comprehensive IT assessments of the IT infrastructure, systems, and processes.
Perform comprehensive IT assessments of the IT infrastructure, systems, and processes to identify potential deviations, weaknesses, and risks from defined standards.
Collect, document and evaluate the evidence provided by the control owners.
Evaluate the design and implementation of IT policies and procedures and the operational effectiveness of IT controls and making recommendations for improvement.
Conduct thorough reviews of information systems, IT operations, and security measures to ensure compliance with security policies and standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
Perform quality reviews of your peers\' assessment documentation
Support in developing audit/assessment plans and relevant set\'s of control objectives, Controls and testing procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help them define potential remediation plans to address identified deviations of IT controls related to business operations and identify areas for improvement.
Review the evidence and solutions for the remediation of findings.
Prepare reports of assessment findings, presenting them to account management and providing actionable recommendations to address identified issues.

Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Any relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CRISC) will be a plus.
At least 2 years of proven experience as an IT Assessor, preferably in a corporate or consulting environment, with a minimum of 6 years overall experience.
Solid knowledge of IT governance frameworks, such as NIST and ITIL, and proficiency in auditing methodologies and standards.
Good understanding and technical background of IT security principles, network protocols, operating systems, and database management systems.
Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA) and their impact on IT operations.
Proficient in conducting risk assessments, identifying control gaps, and developing effective remediation strategies.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex technical information.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
