Job Description
Location: Bayan Lepas, Penang
s:
- Application Support: Provide expert-level support for temperature, pressure, and statistical process control applications used on the shop floor; Collaborate with stakeholders and end-users to understand their needs and address any issues promptly.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize engineering background and technical hands-on experience to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to provide proactive recommendations for system improvements.
- System Monitoring: Monitor IT applications and systems at the plant to ensure optimal performance; Extend support to branches across Malaysia and other countries, contributing to a global IT support network.
- Training and Development: Facilitate training sessions for end-users and stakeholders to enhance their understanding of IT applications and systems.
- Possesses Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Electrical / Mechatronics / Network / Manufacturing Engineering and equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in application support in a large corporation
- A candidate with Manufacturing background will be an added advantage
- Technical hands-on experience in a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
