Job Details:

Server Administration :

Proven 6+ years experience managing Windows and Linux servers, including installation, configuration, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Windows, Linux, Mac :

Laptop/system troubleshooting, Antivirus & Antimalware deep understanding

Virtualization & Instance Management :

Hands-on expertise with VM instance setup, configuration, migration, and optimization using platforms like VMware, Hyper-V, or cloud- native VM services.

Cloud Platforms :

Strong understanding and practical experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including provisioning, scaling, cost optimization, and security management.

Cloud Service Models :

Working knowledge of PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS offerings, including deployment, integration, and lifecycle management.

Cloud Hosting & Provider Liaison :

Experience engaging with cloud hosting providers for service provisioning, incident resolution, and SLA management.

Microsoft Licensing :

In-depth understanding of Microsoft licensing models, subscription management, and compliance requirements.

Linux Fundamentals :

Basic to intermediate knowledge of Linux OS administration, shell commands, and package management.

Networking Skills :

Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN, and wireless network setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.

System Administration Principles :

Deep understanding of system hardening, backup and recovery, user and access management, and performance tuning. Understanding basic scripting/programming is an advantage but not must.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
