• Digitalization will be a true part of BASF's DNA that creates new exciting customer experiences and business growth as well as drives efficiencies in processes. Global Digital Services is supporting BASF business in Digitalization transformation. Our mission is to drive forward the digital transformation of BASF, providing innovative, global and high-quality digital products and services through a strong agile culture. The Digital Hub Kuala Lumpur is one of our global key locations to deliver regional and global solutions for BASF.
• In the TM Surface transportation and Freight Costing product team, we deal with highly complex issues and projects daily regarding the applications and solutions we develop for our business partners considering the particularities of each country or region. We do consulting, support, analysis of processes and data.
• We are responsible for different types of initiative as projects and change requests, including carrying out studies and software evaluations in the pre-project, prototyping, configuration, and testing of new solutions based on specific requirements of the functional areas, while we ensure high quality deliveries.
• In the challenges we lead, we actively collaborate with business partners and colleagues from other IT areas, and lead resources from external suppliers.
• We design and implement transportation management solutions, actively collaborating with regional and global teams, providing coaching for less experienced employees.
• As part of the digital transformation, we actively participate in the innovation management process and contribute to the activities of structuring regional and global squads, creating products and applying agile development methodologies.

Your main responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

• Analyze Business Requirements and define solution approach to it in BASF application landscape
• Design technical solution
• Quality assurance of solution implementation
• Work in agile environment
• Ensure stable operations within TM
• Support make or buy decisions (e.g. Cloud solutions or implementation in BASF SAP system)

RequirementsEducation

• University graduate, majoring in Computer Science, Information Technology or Digitalization

Working Experience

• More than 5 years professional experience in an IT environment, related working experience

Technical & Professional Knowledge (Mandatory)

• SAP TM (R/3 and/or S4/HANA) process experience
• Knowledge of SAP setup (configuration/customizing) in that area
• Concepts of BOPF, FIORI, ODATA Services, API known and preferably already applied
• Basic knowledge of SAP interface technologies

Technical & Professional Knowledge (Additional plus/nice to have Skills)

• ABAP
• Other programming languages
• Cloud integration
• Data Streaming (e.g. KAFKA)
