Quantum is searching for an experienced IT Development Team Manager to lead our Business Solutions development team. The ideal candidate possesses a strong software development and architecture background and prior experience as a developer. Additionally, you must have a proven track record of managing high-performing teams. As the IT Development Team Manager, you will oversee coding standards, conduct code reviews, actively participate in the development process, and lead daily standups with the team. You\'ll also facilitate onsite design sessions to encourage collaboration and innovation.

Hybrid work arrangements - 3 days in office.

Working hours 8.00AM to 5.00PM (MYT)

Job Duties:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software developers and engineers.
• Serve as a system designer and provide technical guidance during project planning and execution.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and development methodologies.
• Conduct regular code reviews to maintain code quality and provide constructive feedback.
• Actively participate in the development process, especially during peak workload periods.
• Conduct daily standups with the team to provide updates, address challenges, and maintain transparency.
• Facilitate onside design sessions to promote collaboration and innovative solutions.
• Oversee the planning, design, and execution of software development projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope.
• Allocate resources effectively and monitor project progress to meet deadlines.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to drive creativity and productivity.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in technology.

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (10+ years) in software development with 1-5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Extensive experience as a C# developer with expertise in web development and relational databases.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD and containerization for deployment.
• Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
• Exceptional communication (written and verbal English) and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
• Experience in Agile or Scrum environments is essential.

• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of software development concepts and technologies, especially in C#, SQL Server, and web development, along with containerization and Docker.
