Requirements \xc2\xb7 Degree in Computer Sciences/Information Technology, related field of study with a network engineering focus. \xc2\xb7 Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware. \xc2\xb7 Must have basic knowledge of programming language and cloud computing. \xc2\xb7 Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions. \xc2\xb7 Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points firewall, routers, switches, controllers. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols. \xc2\xb7 Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems. \xc2\xb7 Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection. \xc2\xb7 Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources. \xc2\xb7 Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization. \xc2\xb7 A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment. \xc2\xb7 Good analytical and problem-solving skills. \xc2\xb7 Dependable and flexible when necessary. \xc2\xb7 Network security and cloud computing experience. \xc2\xb7 LAN and WAN experience. Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware and configurations. \xc2\xb7 Performing disaster recovery operations and data backups when required. \xc2\xb7 Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures. \xc2\xb7 Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems. \xc2\xb7 Replacing faulty network hardware components when required. \xc2\xb7 Maintaining, configuring and monitoring virus protection software, printer and email applications. \xc2\xb7 Monitoring software licenses for each user pc. \xc2\xb7 Monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made. \xc2\xb7 Conferring with network users about solving existing system problems. \xc2\xb7 Operating master consoles to monitor the performance of networks and computer systems. \xc2\xb7 Coordinating computer network access and use. \xc2\xb7 Provide ERP application support for all users across the firm. \xc2\xb7 Coordinate and implement improvement for the ERP System (liaise with system vendor). \xc2\xb7 Maintaining & updating intranet and ERP.
