Performs IT functions such as design, analysis, evaluation, testing, debugging and implementation of applications programs supporting the company infrastructure business processes and operations and/or network-based (cloud) product systems. Analyzes, installs, acquires, modifies and supports operating systems, database or utilities software. Plans, conducts and directs the analysis of business problems with automated systems solutions.

Disciplines: Computing: Assesses requirements, designs systems and manages the lifecycle of computing hardware and database systems. May configure devices, including servers, storage devices and PCs, and perform validation testing. May involve monitoring of hardware devices, patch management and troubleshooting issues. Proficient in the latest technical features such as virtualization, cloud/IaaS/PaaS and the like.

• Reduces broad business requirements into detailed IT architecture plans.
• Leads large new IT solution design; is the key technical contributor
• Solves complex, high impact design problems

Job Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree or equivalent.
• Typically 8+ years relevant experience for entry to this level. Postgraduate and/or certification/ license may be required.
• Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in job. Not a natural progression from Advanced level.
