IT Executive (Manufacturing | Night Shift)

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and technically strong

IT Executive

with a background in the

manufacturing industry

to provide end-to-end IT support for both office and production environments. This role is crucial to maintaining 24/7 operational uptime and requires

willingness to work night shifts

and respond swiftly to IT issues during production hours.

Key Responsibilities

Provide timely technical support to office and factory floor staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot IT infrastructure including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and user workstations. Manage LAN/WAN networks, VPNs, and wireless access points to ensure seamless connectivity across the facility. Implement and maintain network security protocols including firewalls, antivirus systems, and access control policies. Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, configurations, support logs, and change histories. Set up and manage user accounts, access permissions, and group policies via Active Directory. Collaborate with vendors on IT equipment procurement, maintenance, and licensing. Enforce IT policies, security standards, and best practices aligned with manufacturing operational needs. Respond immediately to emergency support requests, particularly within production zones, to minimize downtime and support continuous manufacturing processes.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of IT support experience in a

manufacturing production environment

.

Willingness to work night shifts

and provide after-hours on-site support when necessary. Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and network troubleshooting. Proficient in managing Active Directory, group policies, user access, and security controls. Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools, backup solutions, and disaster recovery planning. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

Pay: RM2,414.17 - RM4,500.00 per month
