You will be expected to suggest, promote, and leverage published standards to minimize environment complexity and ensure regulatory as well as license compliance. As part of your responsibilities you will be required to: Provide day to day technology directions within Windows Server, VMware, and Citrix Operational support escalation Incident management and problem management Project execution Innovation Continually improves operations through routine monitoring of system performance metrics and proactive actions. Reviewing of system log files, trend analysis, configuration, incident and problem management processes. Recommends and works with the Solution and Enterprise Architect on system or architectural changes when needed to improve performance, high availability, scalability, or propose innovative technologies. Ensures architectural consistency and provides technical direction through roadmap process, knowledge management, disaster recovery plan development and testing. Creating all the necessary documentation for any changes in the environment or innovative technology deployments as reference architecture for the global operation team. Master's/Bachelor's Degree with good Honours in any Computer Science/Engineering field Good interpersonal skills. About 2 years of experience, and good solid grasp of the following: Network architectures, TCP/IP, name resolution and directory services Support acquisition, installation, maintenance, and administration of large enterprise SAN, NAS & enterprise Backup environment. Windows/Linux Server Operating System and their relevant tools to handle them. Networked PC and Windows/Linux environment support Enterprise-class server hardware technologies demonstrated in a data center
