Job Description

Wolfspeed is hiring an IT Manufacturing Site Manager for our IT Manufacturing and Product Engineering team. This person will work with Wolfspeed IT, our Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) IT teams, and internal business stakeholders to deploy digital solutions related to manufacturing execution systems (MES), automation and controls, new technology and new product development, data analytics, quality, and supply chain. This person will drive IT standard processes, manage work requests for strategic and operational system enhancements, and will work directly with the OSAT IT team for deployment. The ideal candidate has IT management experience, experience in an semiconductor manufacturing company or a related engineering or manufacturing field, a desire to drive digital transformation, strong communication and organizational skills, and a leadership mindset.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with internal business team stakeholders to understand the production process and IT support needed.
• Work with internal and OSAT teams to collaborate in support Wolfspeed\xe2\x80\x99s manufacturing processes and to drive best practices together.
• Communicate effort status with global (mainly USA-based) team.
• Oversees and/or guides local Wolfspeed IT members towards common goals and project deliverables.
• Ensure IT policies and procedures are adhered to, and drive new procedures, as needed.
• Drive best practices in IT manufacturing systems and processes.

• Experience working with major manufacturing systems such as MES, SPC, Factory Automation, Quality, Planning, and ERP.
• Experience driving and documenting standard operating procedures, roles and responsibilities, and service level agreements (SLA).
• Skilled in root cause analysis (8D, 5-Why, etc.)
• Self-motivated and able to work well with limited direction and supervision.
• Detail oriented, organized, and sense of ownership of area of responsibility.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Semiconductor manufacturing experience preferred.
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
