An exciting IT Network Engineer job based in Kedah has just become available in the IT Infrastructure team of a prestigious electronics manufacturing and production firm.

About the IT Network Engineer Role:
This role troubleshoots network related incidents and problems. You will also provide support and updates to the end users related to the IT Infrastructure issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network design per business requirement
• Implementing network changes, participate in projects and contribute where necessary
• Recommend possible network improvement actions/plans
• Evaluate data/voice hardware and software requirements and capabilities and makes appropriate recommendations based on findings
• Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot network hardware and software
• Establish secure environments for networks being installed
• Gather statistics on performance capacity and availability
• Liaise with the Global IT Team and vendors to ensure projects, services and tasks are implemented as per specification and timely manner
• Perform any other tasks or assignments as directed by the management from time to time

To succeed in this IT Network Engineer role, you must have the knowledge and experience in Level 2 and Level 3 technical support of Cisco routing switching and wireless networks.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or any related courses
• Minimum of three years\' working experience in IT Infrastructure operations and technical support
• CCNA or equivalent level certification
• Experience in Cisco Routing, Switching, and Wireless Networks
• Knowledge of Checkpoint Firewall
• Knowledge of troubleshooting and resolving common data/voice network problems
• Configurations Experience in Administration of DNS, DHCP, and WINS
