Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
• Hands-on experience with network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Proficiency in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with network security principles and best practices, including firewall management and VPN configuration.
• Ability to develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to work onsite in Seri Kembangan, Malaysia.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls (e.g., Synology), and VPNs to ensure secure and reliable network connectivity.
• Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewall rules, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPN configurations, to protect the company's data and systems from unauthorized access.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues, using network monitoring tools and techniques, to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures, to ensure accurate and up-to-date information for network management and troubleshooting.
• Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions, including hardware and software updates, to ensure the network infrastructure meets the company's growing needs.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery plans for network systems, including backup and recovery procedures, to ensure business continuity in the event of a disaster.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on network-related issues, including network access, VPN connectivity, and network security best practices.
