To represent the Owner in the delivery of the telecommunications and network infrastructure. This role ensures the "White Space" and network rooms are built to strict cleanliness and technical standards to support active IT equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
ISP/OSP Coordination:
Manage the installation of Outside Plant (OSP) fiber entry and Inside Plant (ISP) structured cabling (Copper/Fiber).
Vendor Management:
Oversee the Structured Cabling Vendor, ensuring workmanship meets BICSI and Client standards.
Pathway Coordination:
Work with the Construction Lead to ensure cable trays, conduits, and penetrations are installed correctly and clash-free.
Cleanliness Protocol:
Enforce strict "Clean Build" protocols in Data Halls and Meet-Me-Rooms (MMR) to prevent dust contamination of optical equipment.
Telecom Provider Liaison:
Coordinate with local Telcos (e.g., Time, Maxis, TM) for lead-in diversities and connection dates.
Handover:
Manage cable testing results (OTDR/Fluke) and verify labeling and rack elevations for final handover to the Network Operations team.
Requirements:
Education:
Degree in IT, Telecommunications, or Electrical Engineering.
Certifications:
RCDD
(Registered Communications Distribution Designer) or CNIDP preferred.
Experience:
8-10 years in network infrastructure deployment, specifically in Data Centers or Carrier Hotels.
Technical:
Strong knowledge of Fiber Optic testing, MPO/MTP connectivity, and grounding/bonding requirements.
