Job Description

System Operation & Monitoring:

Monitor and manage data center infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and network devices. Continuously monitor system performance, identifying and addressing any issues or anomalies promptly.

Batch Processing:

Ensure all scheduled jobs and tasks are completed accurately and on time across all regional locations.

Backup and Recovery:

Monitor backup processes and perform restoration tasks as needed to ensure data integrity and availability.

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:

Address system issues promptly, escalating complex problems to appropriate IT personnel or vendors when necessary. Maintain detailed documentation of issues and resolutions to support continuous improvement efforts.

System Maintenance and Upgrades:

Conduct routine maintenance activities such as backups, patching, and system updates across the region. Support the implementation of system upgrades and new technologies, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of system operations, procedures, and configurations across all regional sites. Prepare regular reports on system performance, issues, and activities, and ensure adherence to established operational procedures.

Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate closely with both regional and global IT teams to support and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing timely updates on system status and any issues affecting operations.

Cloud Management:

Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud-based infrastructure. Implement and maintain robust cloud security practices to safeguard systems and data.

Automation:

Design and implement automation scripts and tools to enhance system efficiency and minimize manual tasks.

Job Requirements:-

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience in computer operations or a similar role. Experience in batch processing and monitoring. Backup management and monitoring (Veeam, Commvault or Avamar backup software) Infrastructure background knowledge on server monitoring.

Up to RM7,000.00

Working Hour:

This required to work on shift hours and Malaysia public holidays because this role is supporting the Philippines. The shift schedule will be shared once the candidates is onboarded. For the start, the incumbent will be working 8:30 PM to 5:30 PM
