It Pmo Specialist (on 12 Months Contract)

Job Description


Responsibilities

  • Support APAC region\xe2\x80\x99s Project Managers & key stakeholders on matters related PMO processes, governance, tools & reporting
  • Support the establishment & implementation of the Adecco project management framework and methodology covering startup, planning, execution & closure phases of projects
  • Train Project Managers on PMO processes, documentations, templates & tools
  • Support Project Managers in coordination, preparation & review of tollgate documentations from start-up till project closure phase
  • Ensure project documentations are completed accurately by Project Managers in accordance to PMO governance and as per the tollgates requirement
  • Coordinate, conduct and facilitate Regional Project Approvals Board meetings, and ensure follow up on action items are tracked till closure by working with the respective Project Managers, Country IT Heads, and other action item owners (as applicable)
  • Work with Project Managers to ensure completeness of project updates in Clarity tool and generation of project reports in a timely manner.
  • Provide support to Project Portfolio Manager, in preparation for the monthly Project Portfolio Review meeting with key stakeholders & other matters related to project portfolio management for the region
  • Prepare dashboard or any other informational materials related to PMO matters for the region (as needed to support APAC Country IT heads, specific to their markets)
  • Provide feedback, consultation, and improvement recommendations on PMO processes and tools and steer the continuous improvement of those processes and tools
Work Experience
  • Work Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in a position with comparable complexity
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a matrix organization
  • Good understanding of PMO processes and governance (project management framework, PPM tools, reporting & analysis)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with Clarity (or at least a PPM tool)
  • Experience on Microsoft Project
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Financial skills is a plus
Education
  • Bachelors University Degree
  • PM certification (PMP or PRINCE2) is a plus
Travel Requirement Occasional (up to 20%)

  • Any additional language is an advantage especially, Japanese
