Job Summary:

We are seeking a mid-level IT Project Manager with hands-on experience in delivering infrastructure projects within the banking domain. The role involves managing end-to-end project lifecycles covering data center operations, server/network upgrades, end-user computing rollouts, cloud migration, and cybersecurity initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant delivery of infrastructure projects while meeting the bank's governance and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage infrastructure-related projects including server refresh, virtualization (P2V/V2V), storage upgrades, network/security implementations, and cloud adoption (AWS, Azure). Plan, execute, and monitor project activities, ensuring deliverables meet scope, schedule, budget, and compliance requirements. Coordinate with infrastructure teams (network, cloud, cybersecurity, EUC, database, storage, and data center) to track dependencies and resolve technical blockers. Maintain project documentation such as project plans, risk/issue logs, compliance checklists, and post-implementation reviews. Oversee acceptance testing (OAT, SAT, UAT) for infrastructure rollouts, ensuring systems are production-ready. Liaise with vendors and third-party service providers on procurement, contracts, and service delivery. Provide regular project updates, dashboards, and presentations to senior management and regulatory stakeholders. Ensure projects comply with IT governance, information security, and banking regulatory requirements (BNM, MAS, PCI-DSS, SWIFT CSP). Identify risks, issues, and dependencies early, escalating when necessary and implementing mitigation strategies. Mentor junior project coordinators or analysts and contribute to process improvement in infrastructure delivery.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 3-5 years of IT project management or coordination experience, with exposure to infrastructure projects (preferably in banking/financial services). Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components: servers, virtualization, storage, databases, networking, firewalls, and cloud platforms. Experience managing data center operations, EUC rollouts, or infrastructure migration projects. Familiarity with Agile/Waterfall project methodologies and project tools (MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps). Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills, including coordinating across business, IT, and external partners. Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications (advantageous):

PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM (Project Management) ITIL Foundation (IT service management) Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals/Administrator) Networking/Security certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Security+)

Pay: RM6,862.43 - RM9,675.71 per month
