Experience Required:

6-8 years (minimum 6 years in relevant Project Management roles)

Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Management / Information Technology or equivalent

Certification (Preferred):

PMP / PRINCE2

Job Purpose

We are seeking a seasoned

Project Manager

with strong experience in managing medium to large-scale IT and business transformation projects. The candidate will oversee full project lifecycle activities -- from initiation to closure -- ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, governance standards, and delivery excellence.

Core ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution

Define project approach, milestones, and schedules; develop a detailed work plan. Oversee end-to-end project delivery including planning, budgeting, execution, and quality control. Manage risks, issues, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure compliance with internal IT standards, SDLC policies, and procedures. Provide regular project updates and reports to management and steering committees.

Project Initiation

Develop the project charter and confirm project objectives and high-level scope. Identify key stakeholders and establish project steering and working committees. Support business case and technical solution development. Develop and review SOW, participate in contract and pricing negotiations. Initiate purchase requisitions and ensure timely procurement.

Stakeholder Management

Communicate project progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders. Lead and manage performance of internal teams and external vendors. Provide training, development, and guidance to project resources. Build strong relationships with business, technical, and vendor teams to ensure collaboration and alignment.

Vendor Management

Oversee vendor SOWs to ensure timely and quality delivery. Coordinate with vendors to resolve project-related technical issues. Ensure all vendor deliverables align with project scope, timeline, and budget.

Audit & Compliance

Collaborate with IT Security and IT Audit teams to remediate audit findings. Ensure all governance standards, policies, and procedures are adhered to. Conduct regular project and compliance reviews to maintain audit readiness.

Competencies & Skills

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools

(e.g., Microsoft Project).

Proven track record delivering results within large, complex organizations. Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving abilities. Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to influence and drive results. High commitment to quality, timelines, and achieving objectives. Excellent interpersonal, communication (written & verbal), and presentation skills. Able to work independently while fostering teamwork and collaboration. Demonstrates accountability, ownership, and integrity in all project activities.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
