We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Technology team in the role of IT Project Manager.
Principle Responsibilities:
This role will carry out some or all of the following activities:
\xc2\xb7 Provide support across the end-to-end delivery and run lifecycle, utilising their skills and expertise to carry out software development, testing and operational support activities with the ability to move between these according to demand.
\xc2\xb7 End-to-end accountability for a product or service, identifying and developing the most appropriate Technology solutions to meet customer needs as part of the Customer Journey.
\xc2\xb7 Liaise with other engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand and drive the product or service\'s direction.
\xc2\xb7 Establish a digital environment and automate processes to minimize variation and ensure predictable high-quality code and data.
\xc2\xb7 Create technical test plans and records, including unit and integration tests, within automated test environments to ensure code quality.
\xc2\xb7 Provide support to DevOps teams working at all stages of a product or service release/change with a strong customer focus and end-to-end journeys, ensuring they have an excellent domain knowledge.
\xc2\xb7 Working with Ops, Dev and Test Engineers to ensure operational issues (performance, operator intervention, alerting, design defect related issues, etc.) are identified and addressed at all stages of a product or service release/change.
\xc2\xb7 Provide support in identification and resolution of all incidents associated with the IT service, as directed by leadership of the DevOps team.
\xc2\xb7 Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered.
\xc2\xb7 Responsible for automating the continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team driving a culture of continuous improvement.
\xc2\xb7 Keep up-to-date and have expertise on current tools, technologies and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency etc. that are applicable.
Requirements
Qualifications:
\xc2\xb7 Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or IT related disciplines.
\xc2\xb7 IT working experiences, preferably in an enterprise or a global environment.
\xc2\xb7 Solid hands-on API (Application Programming Interface) and RPG development with solid technical knowledge and development experience in IBM i (iSeries);
\xc2\xb7 Experience in RPGLE/CLLE programming.
\xc2\xb7 Knowledge in C language, Phyton, machine language is an added advantage.
\xc2\xb7 Knowledge and experience working on Cloud services is an added advantage.
\xc2\xb7 Strong data/fact based analytical and problem-solving skills, able to work independently, proactively and under pressure against multiple deadlines.
\xc2\xb7 Excellent understanding of the full project lifecycle and Agile methodology.
\xc2\xb7 Ability to easily navigate and adapt quickly and effectively using different tools and technologies.
\xc2\xb7 Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
