Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for promoting IT projects\' delivery, including leading and managing development related to EUC in the Asia Region, common systems in Asia related to the client, and Head Office systems in Japan associated with the client.

Review and understand the existing project plan for ISO20022PJ during the pre-study phase. Successfully coordinate various stakeholders, obtain approval, and execute project plans.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify project risks and issues, taking necessary actions to mitigate risks and resolve issues.

Oversee the project team, comprising IT teams, users, and third-party vendors, ensuring the achievement of project objectives. Supervision of the Head Office system development team in Japan, specifically systems interfacing with the client\'s EUC, such as channel systems and anti-money laundering systems, is required.

Monitor and control project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure adherence to agreed-upon constraints.

Communicate project status and progress to management within the client and related departments in Singapore, providing regular updates and reports.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive the adoption of new tools and technologies supporting project success.

Ensure compliance with project management best practices, encompassing project governance frameworks.

Requirements:

Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience in ISO20022 Is a must to have

Over 10 years of experience in system development and IT project management, preferably within banking or financial services, global IT projects, and settlement-related projects, especially for SWIFT.

Strong leadership and team management skills, capable of motivating cross-functional teams.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, proficient at explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, including Waterfall, and familiarity with project governance frameworks.

Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements in the banking industry is advantageous.

Proficiency in English and Malay at a business level.
