Job Description

Manage the design, deployment, and delivery of complex IT projects (e.g., MDM, CRM, Omnichannel) across APMA and Japan, ensuring alignment with their commercial and medical requirements while overseeing progress, quality, and budget.- Manage the design, deployment and delivery of projects / project work streams providing IT solutions (e.g. MDM, CRM, Omnichannel, Data & Analytics, etc. with complex system integration requirements) that meet Novartis commercial and medical business requirements across APMA and Japan.
- Direct project teams and maintain control of progress, quality, and budget to meet the desired business objectives.
- Lead the deployment of projects and engaging with regional/local business and various TT functions where appropriate to secure timely implementations and local business adoptions where required
- Ensure harmonized global/regional solution and regional deployment approach are adopted to achieve speed, cost efficiency, operation simplification and user adoption.
- Ensure delivery excellence and leadership throughout the projects and drive changes management appropriately.
- Govern the service operations, service transition, quality, compliance, and audit readiness of services delivered.
- Contribute to enabling operational excellence and continuous improvement in the Service quality across DDIT.
- Partner with Business Stakeholders and different DDIT functions in Demand shaping activities, providing optimal planning and estimation in terms of solution proposal, services, timelines, timeline, cost and resources. MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Project Management and Delivery: Oversee internal and outsourced projects from initiation to transition, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery that meets business objectives.
• Resource and Deployment Management: Plan and manage the allocation of resources, both internal and external, to deploy solutions effectively in regional markets.
• Governance and Control: Monitor project execution, manage costs, budgets, resources, and timelines, and establish governance to address risks and issues.
• Quality and Integration: Ensure high-quality deliverables, oversee technical guidance, and lead solution integration and engineering aspects.
• Coordination and Expertise: Collaborate with global teams and vendors, provide technical support, and act as a subject matter expert for project delivery and operations.
• Compliance and Security: Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and GxP policies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Transition and Change Management: Facilitate smooth project transitions to operations, execute change management strategies, and enhance efficiency through training and business process improvements.
• Stakeholder Management: Negotiate and align global, regional, and country needs, partner with business units, and ensure solutions meet organizational goals and customer satisfaction.
• Multicultural Teamwork: Work effectively across teams in diverse, multi-time zone environments.

Experience

• 8+ years of experience in IT project delivery (particularly in Data & Analytics) involving complex solution integration design.
• Project Management, Process management, Relationship Management, Operations Management and Execution, Financial Management, People Leadership, Supporting Quality activities / issues, Risk, Proven Ability to Develop trust-based relationships with key regional stakeholders, Ambiguity, Accountability, Strategy Development

• Strong project managements skills with solid experience in Data & Analytics projects with complex systems integration.
