Job Summary

The IT Project Manager will be based in Senai area or Bukit Minyak, Penang or Shah Alam area. IT Project Manager performs planning and coordinating all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Projects involve System implementation (ERP/MES) and version upgrades, data migration...etc

Here is a glimpse of what you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

• Coordinates projects of varying degrees of complexity from design and development to production.
• Defines resources (and resource allocation) and schedule for implementation.
• Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
• Performs feasibility and needs/impact assessments.
• Plan and schedule project deliverables, goals, milestones.
• Directs and oversees project team and manages conflicts within group.
• Performs team assessments and evaluations.
• Efficiently identifies and solves project issues.
• Monitors project progress, timelines and budget constraints to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Assess causes of problems and provide technical support and direction to project team to resolve issues.
• Work with Customer IT to develop Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
• Create and maintain technical and project documentation.
• Conduct presentations of technical information.
• Interact frequently with customers and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management; frequently interact with middle management and individual contributor groups.

Here is some of what you\xe2\x80\x99ll need:

• Relevant education background in Information Technology or Computer Science
• Minimum 5 years of working experience as an project manage in an BaaN5, LN or any other ERP environment.
• Experience in ERP, logistic processes, supply chain in the manufacturing industry
• Travel is required base on project requirement

• Good team player who is self-motivated, independent and has ability to exercise independent judgment in complex situations
• Understanding of EDI and data extraction tools are desirable.
