Job Summary

The IT Security Analyst will be based in Bukit Minyak, Penang.

Here is a glimpse of what you will do:

• 24/5 support for SOC; The support level includes L2 and L3 support.
• A role for supporting IDS/IPS and Web filtering solution.
• A role for discovering virus outbreaks and working with different IT Teams and our AV vendor to handle the outbreak, clean, and do the root cause analysis.
• Monitoring and analyzing security events leveraging given SIEM tools and infrastructure, making a risk assignment and response, and resolve these events.
• Proficiency with technical scanning, and remediation tools such as Qualys, Nessus, Nmap, etc.
• Responsible for managing and handling IT security incidents.
• Support for Certificate authority issuing solution, Provides IT Security engineering and integration services to internal customers.
• Involved in a wide range of issues including secure architectures, secure electronic data traffic, network security, and security and privacy.
• Complies with the Internal Regulations and work procedures related to the job and Complies with Flex practices and policies.
• Responsible for discovering, analyzing, and closing of security incidents related to Security Operations Center solutions and implementations. Further being responsible for doing a root cause analysis and helping to establish prevention controls.
• Responsible for managing, administrating and supporting Endpoint Device Control globally.
• Responsible for managing, administrating and supporting IDS/IPS Devices and Web Filtering.
• Responsible for managing, administrating and supporting EMAIL Security and compliance solution.

Here is some of what you will need (required):

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in a technical field of study (informatics, automatics, computers).
• IT-related certifications are an advantage (i.e. CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CEH, etc.)
• Desired 4 - 7 years of relevant experience in the IT field of activity.
• Flexible working style: Remote/onsite (on case basis).
• General Knowledge of the security architecture, products, and concepts.
• Networking administration and support.
• Knowledge of Windows, Unix, TCP/IP, Firewalls, IDS. Understanding of security technologies including Firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, as well as knowledge of SOX IT Controls; Windows Update Service Version 2 and 3.
• Ability to manage, administrate and support the global EPP and IDS/IPS, mail security, and compliance system globally.
• Ability to investigate and discover unknown viruses on computers and coordinate the response with any preventive solution in place.
• Ability to understand security alerts, analyzes the alerts, establish facts and draw valid conclusions to solve the issue.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to information from groups.
• Knowledge of commercial security vendors.
• Knowledge of Microsoft AD.
• Knowledge of SQL queries.
