An exciting IT Security Architect job opportunity has become available at one of the most reputable banks in Malaysia.

About the IT Security Architect Role:
You will be responsible for developing policies and procedures as well as provide evaluation and assessments on security projects, governing overall programmes from security domains. IT security product and infrastructure architecture experience is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and technically lead a team of engineers to deliver apps/portals according to defendable architecture framework and quality
• Be actively involved in security project and developers to ensure delivery quality
• Identify the gaps and improve overall security risk and solution and planning
• Be part of group security team working alongside product manager, technical lead and developers. Participate in security technical design and solution with security architecture and technical lead
• Participate in security strategy, solution and planning and architecture and solution requirements
• Develop security by design solutions IT, network, cloud, EUC, DevSecOps and solutions advisory
• Perform security tools capacity planning and provide security risk advisory
• Be involved in third-party solutions/product normalisation and develop security solutions documentations

Key Requirements:

• Adaptable and fast. Able to quickly learn a new tool to get the job done based on the security project requirements
• Self-driven, motivated, resourceful and able to solve complex technical problems
• Experience in telecommunications, managed security IT infrastructure planning, development, operations and technical/security project management across multiple MNCs
• Able to understand and work with cross functions and groups, third-party service provider and internal engagement for consulting, projects, audit and assessments organisation
• Obsessed with quality and adopt strong risk-based approach on design and implement the best security solutions for the organisation's needs
