Job Description

Manage the company's ERP system, oversee internal server/PC/device hardware, software, and network infrastructure, and provide essential support for our computing environments. This role is pivotal in maintaining the technological backbone of our organization, empowering every department to function effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Generate reports and make amendments to computer programs.

2. Administer email user accounts and server operations.

3. Liaise with IT support vendors for matters related to hardware, software, and networking.

4. Coordinate and assist users with ERP software, ensuring accuracy of settings and records.

5. Manage and maintain servers, desktops, laptops, and storage solutions to ensure optimal performance and availability as part of day-to-day operations.

6. Take full ownership of assigned tasks, taking responsibility for the entire process to achieve required objectives. This includes, but is not limited to, requirement identification, solution recommendation, planning of solution implementation, documentation, communication and coordination, progress tracking and reporting, and implementation.

7. Respond efficiently to IT helpdesk support requests, delivering effective solutions to end-users.

8. Provide installation, relocation, additions, and changes for various software and hardware as needed.

9. Maintain accurate documentation for all devices.

10. Provide technical support to employees, addressing and resolving IT-related issues in a timely manner. Offer training and assistance to staff in the use of new software and IT tools.

11. Assist in sourcing computer hardware and software.

12. Align and support IT projects and implementations.

13. Organize, plan, and arrange for hardware maintenance and software updates.

14. Update inventory records of computer hardware, software, printers, and accessories periodically.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

o Network Knowledge: Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), network protocols, firewalls, and VPNs.

o Programming: Proficiency in programming languages such as PHP, Java, and C++.

o Operating Systems: Experience with Windows Server administration (including Active Directory, Group Policy, etc.).

o Cloud Management: Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud service management.

o Experience with ERP systems administration is highly desirable.

o Troubleshooting hardware (desktops, laptops, printers) and software issues.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
