Join our Datacenter Operations team

As our new Server Operations Specialist, you will join the Global Datacenter Operations team, consisting of 14 people globally. This is part of the Infrastructure & Operations team with 80 dedicated colleagues working out of Denmark and Poland. We are part of the internal Global IT Organization at Demant, with over 500 colleagues around the world, and hubs in Denmark, Poland, US, and Asia Pacific Region.

You will be working alongside specialist in the areas of, Network, Server, Virtualization, Backup and Storage. We offer you a possibility to work with operations in global projects with energetic and engaged colleagues.

Your main responsibilities and tasks:

• Deliver 2nd line support to Demant companies worldwide, including troubleshooting, analysis and improvement of Server Infrastructure
• Service Request fulfillment. Ensure all requests are prioritized and managed pro-actively according to impact, escalating problems as required
• Follow up on incidents and issues in cooperation with colleagues from different worldwide locations
• Support and contribute to various projects and initiatives
• You will mainly be covering the APAC shift which runs from 07:00-15:00, with the occasional EMEA or AMERICAS shift which runs in the later afternoon or night.

How to succeed in this role:

To succeed in this position, it\xc2\xb4s important that you have experience working in an IT Infrastructure environment. Currently you may be working as a specialist or consultant. It is essential that you have experience with different technologies within the Server area, and preferably from a larger/international company. Furthermore, you should be fluent in English and a good team player.

To sum up, we hope that you have experience with:

• Administering Microsoft server platforms (Win 2016, 2019, \xe2\x80\xa6) and server roles including file, print, firewall, DFS-R, RDS/VDI, AD, GPOs, hyper-v
• Experience performing VMware vSphere (ESXi, VCenter) administration
• Physical data center facilities
• Server Hardware (preferably HPE), ONEView or other server monitoring platforms
• ITIL processes & procedures
• (nice to have): familiarity with Azure or other public cloud workloads
• (nice to have): familiarity with Citrix virtual apps & desktops

Personal characteristics:

• You communicate effortlessly in English
• You have experience with business interaction, and you enjoy working in teams across business and IT
• As a person you are analytical, good at troubleshooting and have the will to make a difference
• You are a Team-Player. You share credit, emphasize team over self, define success collectively rather than individually. You are always looking for more, are self-motivated and diligent
• Great interpersonal skills, ask good questions and listen to what others are saying
