Job Description


:Responsibilities:

  • Lead the IT Service Management department and manage the team, overseeing infrastructure support for critical Banking Systems and Applications. Implemented incident, problem, and change management processes to ensure seamless service.
  • Ensured the IT Operations Business Continuity Plan ("BCP") was in place and ready to be used in times of need, and developed processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborated with cross-functional teams to address service interruptions promptly and minimize downtime. Introduced monitoring tools and performance metrics to proactively identify and resolve infrastructure issues.
  • Provided oversight in managing IT Operations and associated business systems/services to ensure they met service level agreements.
  • Oversaw ongoing improvements and the feasibility of system enhancements.
  • Evaluated overall IT Operations of computing and information technology functions and recommended enhancements. Interacted with company managers on internal and external IT Operations support and services.
  • The scope of L1 management work includes, but is not limited to, monitoring alerts, ticket management, incident and problem management, log analysis to identify issues, access management, batch job management, and shift rostering to support 24/7 operations.
  • The scope of L2 DevOps management work includes, but is not limited to, monitoring cloud-native applications, capacity and performance management, deployments, disaster recovery activities, patch management, and cloud optimization
Qualifications:Requirement:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Min. 5 years of experience in managing IT Infrastructure Operations within banking environment or IT Managed Services Operations Management.
  • Experience or exposure to various IT infrastructure technologies such as Wintel, Linux, DevOps, cloud, and Security.
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools available in the market is necessary.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to lead teams and drive initiatives in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure.
