What you'll achieve The Services Sales Account Manager (Outside Sales) acts as the focal point and leader for coordinating all infrastructure services, managed services and engagement activities with customers and partners as required. Selected candidate will work with Dell Account teams (core sales, presales, and specialty sales) and Client Solutions Group and Infrastructure Solutions Group business units to grow Dell services business in KL/ Selangor, Malaysia. This is a Quota Carrying Sales Position (Individual Contributor). You will: Define and execute on Services Strategy Excel as Individual Contributor to drive the sales business Engagement with all internal and external stakeholders Engage in complex engagement and manage complex customer situations Strong BMS cadence and Sales hygiene of the highest levels Engage closely with the various Business Units Exceed the business targets on a regular basis with business linearity Engages in looking for resources, solutions and partnership in a bid to grow the business Has industry and partner relationships and leverage these to grow the business Regular speaker in public conferences and events Leads the weekly reviews in the country and at the region level and represents services in all local country leadership meetings. Here's what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements Minimum 12 years' experience in the IT Industry focusing on services. Prior experience is critical with strong services business management background Strong experience and expertise in selling infrastructure solutions and services centered on Microsoft, VMware, Data Center solutions like Private/Hybrid/Multi Cloud, Data Center consolidation, Disaster Recovery and Data migration Added Advantage: experience in IT Services Presales Modern workforce solutions based on Microsoft or VMware offerings Prior technical experience in delivery or presales is an added advantage. The candidate is skilled at working in virtual teams and influencing others to implement specific strategies Degree inComputer Science, Engineering or Business plus minimum 15 years of project management or pre-sales experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. Be a self-driven and motivated individual to drive the business. Is a team player, builds relations and has a commitment to quality. Possess strong communication, selling, customer relations and negotiating skills as well as good time management and personal organization. Must have complete understanding of services delivery life cycle, sales, and financial skills highly desired. Experience in pursuit, close & successful execution of large, complex wins is a competitive advantage
