You will be supporting markets in multiple time zones and some flexibility around working hours will be needed.In this role you will be collaborating with various stakeholders across the business including our GBS teams in Lisbon and Bogota, including internal/external stakeholders to support the ongoing business operations.To be successful in this role you will have:Lead and support EA activities to guide the development and management on a portfolio of solutions. Solutions include projects and products, systems (including applications, technologies, processes and information), and shared application servicesResponsible for analysis, designing, implementing, and integrating information systems to fit within existing systems infrastructure and security standardsCollaborate with local Tech Business Partners, product owners and product managers to ensure robust architectural runway that can support future business requirements throughout the technology life cycleProvide expert guidance to the engineering teams and act as the TDA and Solution Governance for ArchitectureDesign and develop important artefacts of high-level architecture, high Level design, contribute and review low-level design which aligns with architectural governance and standardsMonitor current-state solutions to identify deficiencies through aging of technologies used by the application, or misalignment with business requirementsCreate deliverables for managing the ConvaTec\xe2\x80\x99s portfolio of "to be" and "as is" solutions \xe2\x80\x94 including systems (applications, processes, information and technology), shared application services and componentsWork closely with the program management office (PMO) to ensure the execution of plans corresponds with deliverables throughout the project or product life cycleSupport product managers in end-of-life product decisions to maintain, refresh or retire services or systems, including applications, technologies, processes and informationIdentify the potential technology innovations and engage with different enterprise business leaders and units and attend to their computing needs and requirements in order to design solutions that achieve business goals while also working within existing and/or legacy systemsContribute and lead on ensuring Privacy, Security and AI by designEvaluate feasibility and business cases for implementation steps towards target architectureEnsure adherence to regulations and industry standards while maintaining alignment with regional regulationsWork with system integrators and software technology provider to understand technology & product roadmapTo be successful you have:Experience in software engineering/technology design and implementation. Domain knowledge with Medical Product/Solutions is highly desiredSolution architecture experience in ERP (SAP preferred)/Commercial/MarketingTECH/Integration tools and patterns (ESB)Proven analytical, planning, organizational and technical and skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsUnderstanding and knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies (such as waterfall, spiral, agile software development, rapid prototyping, incremental, synchronize and stabilize and DevOps)Excellent understanding of architecture models i.e. C4Experience working in diverse, global teams and can lead and manage strategically important technology projectsKnowledge of business ecosystems, software as a service (SaaS), infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, artificial intelligence (AI), internet of things (IoT) and data analyticsGood understanding of using and leveraging enterprise architecture management tools (e.g. LeanIX)Good knowledge of any development languages like React, JavaScript node.js, .NET, Python, C# etc.Good understanding of various database technologies like MySQL, MongoDB and Oracle etc.Our ambitions will bring the very best out in you.
