IT Solution Architect - Multi-Domain (Infrastructure & Applications)
? Location: Menara KL, Malaysia (Onsite | Monday - Friday, Office Hours)
? Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time
? Reporting To: Head of Architecture (Based in Singapore)
? Regional Scope: Supports Singapore, Malaysia & Indonesia
? Salary: Up to RM 20,000/month + RM 750 Fixed Allowance
About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced IT Solution Architect to design and govern end-to-end solutions across multiple domains, spanning infrastructure and application layers.
This role is pivotal in aligning business objectives with enterprise architecture, building roadmaps, and collaborating with senior stakeholders across regional entities in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
This is a senior-level position - ideal for a candidate who is hands-on, architecture-driven, and confident in multi-technology solution design.
Key Responsibilities

• Define technical strategies aligned with business objectives
• Develop architecture and application roadmaps for assigned portfolios
• Design solution architectures in collaboration with application/software architects
• Ensure implementation governance & alignment with approved designs
• Monitor and resolve technical debt
• Lead technology evaluation and selection
• Develop and maintain architecture standards, guidelines, playbooks and reusable building blocks
• Prepare presentations and architecture decisions for approval by the Architecture Board

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / IT or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years' proven experience as a Solution Architect
• Strong expertise in architecture modelling techniques (C4, ArchiMate, UML, etc.)
• Track record in designing complex multi-technology solutions across applications, infrastructure, data, and cloud-hybrid environments
• Experience in technology selection and architecture roadmap development
• Well-versed in design principles and architectural frameworks (TOGAF or equivalent required)
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Exposure to the insurance or financial services industry is preferred
• Ability to standby and support deployment activities when required
