Role Summary

Provide day-to-day IT support for office and production users, maintain endpoints and basic network services, and ensure smooth operations for core business systems.

Job Responsibilities

Provide Level 1-2 support for Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365/Outlook, printers, scanners and common applications.

Set up, deploy and maintain PCs/laptops/mobile devices (imaging, patching, antivirus, asset tagging).

Manage user accounts & access (AD/Microsoft 365): onboarding/offboarding, password resets, permissions.

Troubleshoot basic LAN/Wi-Fi issues (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS), VPN and printing; escalate complex cases to vendors.

Support factory/operations systems (e.g., ERP/MES terminals, barcode/RFID scanners, label printers, CCTV/iVMS).

Perform daily checks on backups, endpoint health and disk capacity; escalate server issues when required.

Maintain IT inventory, licenses and support documentation/knowledge base.

Coordinate with external vendors/ERP programmers to resolve system issues and plan fixes.

Enforce basic IT security practices (updates, MFA, acceptable-use, removable media).

Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

Job Requirements

Diploma/Degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent experience (?2 years in IT support preferred).

Strong troubleshooting of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 admin basics, and PC hardware.

Fundamental networking knowledge (switching/Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).

Good communication, customer-service mindset, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Able to support after-hours or weekend incidents on rotation when needed.

Bonus: basic SQL reading, CCTV/iVMS exposure, FortiGate/firewall basics, PowerShell scripting, ERP/MES experience.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
