Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide day-to-day support for end-user on PCs, Network, Hardware and Software troubleshooting, via email, phone or remote access. \xe2\x80\xa2 Deploy PCs, telephone and associated peripherals including new installations, redeployment and upgrades of existing equipment. \xe2\x80\xa2 Install and configure operating systems/ applications to agreed standards using cloning system. (OS and standard set of applications installation, joining of machines to the domain, setup of MS Office Outlook, logins, network printing, Intranet Access, IE issues, VPN and internal software issues as well as hardware issues. \xe2\x80\xa2 Create, modify, delete and terminate user account as necessary. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure the Anti-Virus are updated with the latest definitions. \xe2\x80\xa2 Document implementations and repeatable problem resolutions. Capture and document the details of any issue and the troubleshooting steps taken before escalation of the issue. \xe2\x80\xa2 Update inventory of hardware and software following IT department records. \xe2\x80\xa2 Backup daily and carry out routine task. \xe2\x80\xa2 Liaise with vendors for warranty, parts replacement, and onsite service or to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software. PROFILE KEY REQUIREMENTS \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor\'s Degree or Diploma in a related field required. \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum of 3 years\' experience in IT Support Services and on-site support. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in SQL/Oracle Database \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in interacting with end users, clients/partners and vendors. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in managing the server system and ability to travel from time to time. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of Windows 7 or later, MS Server 2003 or later, VMware, PABX and Networking. Certifications would be an advantage.
