Job Summary
Overall responsibility is to perform Technical Support for Notebooks, Desktops, Printers, Barcode Scanners and other computer peripherals with the objective of ensuring business operation runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities

• To perform technical support for IT INFRA and 1st level support to IT systems to achieve zero downtime and zero service interruption to users.
• To carry out IT security control policies and compliances to ensure security of networks and systems are not breach, and to ensure event of virus attacks and its potentials are eliminated as well as to ensure compliances to Law and Order pertaining to software legality.
• To execute installation or upgrade of software or hardware based on superior direction.
• To ensure all hardware, software and spare parts or equipment are documented. This is to ensure no IT assets losses, software licenses are sufficient and comply with audit requirements
• To perform monitoring on various components of IT INFRA health and integrity and to conduct periodical system maintenances to ensure the INFRA systems run at optimum performance.
• Learn the technicalities of the new systems to be able to give technical support to users.

Qualifications
Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or Certificate in Computer Science, IT or related field from recognized Higher Institution or proven work experience in related field.
• Good knowledge in Notebooks, Desktops, Printers, Barcode and Other Computer Peripherals.
• Basic knowledge in Server, Network, Storage and Virtualization.
• Basic knowledge in projects management and system deployment processes.
• Basic knowledge in semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Willing to work on shift basis.
