Job Description

1. Technical Support

Provide first-level support to users on hardware, software, network, and system issues. Respond to IT helpdesk tickets and ensure timely resolution. Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, including remote troubleshooting via phone or email.

2. Hardware & Software Maintenance

Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals (printers, scanners) Ensure software updates, patches, and antivirus definitions are current. Assist in maintaining an inventory of hardware and software assets.

3. Network & Systems Support

Support basic network setup and maintenance (e.g., LAN/WiFi connectivity, internet connection). Monitor system performance and report irregularities to senior IT staff. Assist in managing user accounts and access permissions (Active Directory, email, etc.).

4. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain documentation of support issues and resolutions. Assist in updating IT policies, procedures, and user guides. Prepare reports on IT support activities and inventory updates.

5. IT Projects & Rollouts

Support IT infrastructure projects such as hardware rollouts, system migrations, and upgrades. Participate in testing and deploying new tools and systems under supervision.

Requirements

Minimum Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience in IT support or a related field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach. Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting. Strong interpersonal and cross-departmental coordination skills; proactive, diligent, and execution-driven.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
