The IT Technician provides basic IT support for daily operations, including network, server, PC, POS systems, and business applications. This role also assist in supporting kiosk, vending and payment applications under guidance from Senior IT staff.
Job Responsibilities
Provide first-level support for PCs, laptops, printers, POS terminals and peripherals.
Assist users with basic software and hardware issues.
Escalate complex issues to senior IT or vendors when required.
Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting basic network connectivity issues.
Support basic server tasks such as user account setup and system checks.
Follow IT procedures for backup and system maintenance.
Support daily operation of kiosk, vending, and payment applications.
Assist in application installation, configuration and updates.
Help monitor system availability and report issues.
Log incidents and service requests in the IT ticketing system.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and IT security policies.
Assist in maintaining basic IT documentation.
Job Requirements
Candidate must possess Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
Fresh graduate with internship or hands-on experience in IT support are encouraged to apply.
Basic knowledge of Windows OS and common office applications.
Basic understanding of computer hardware and networking concepts.
Willingness to learn POS, kiosk and payment systems.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Able to work independently with guidance.
Have a basic networking knowledge (LAN/Wi-Fi)
Familiarity with POS or payment applications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,700.00 per month
