This independent international school - built on a brand new purpose-built campus housing outstanding facilities - opened in 2017 to provide high quality, international learning opportunities for students in the city of Johor Bahru and wider Johor community. About 75% of pupils are local from local Malaysian families and about 25% are from overseas. Similarly the staff is comprised of both local and international teachers. An enthusiastic teacher of Humanities is required to teach History and Geography also able to teach Geography to IGCSE to join a team of 4 full team specialist teachers. Candidates must have a related degree and PGCE with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience. We currently have a strong team, and we are hoping to add to our current expertise. The commerce subjects are part also part of the Humanities faculty.
Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor\'s Degree/Professional Degree in a related field plus a teaching certificate ie. PGCE.
At least 3 years experience of teaching either Geography or History to IGCSE.
Professional written and spoken English communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a team of multinational staff.
Must have efficient organisational and IT skills.
A thorough knowledge of best Learning and Teaching practice is essential.
