Job Title: Japanese Communicator/Translator

We are seeking a skilled Japanese Communicator to support the Director in daily communications and facilitate interactions between Japanese-speaking management and local staff. The ideal candidate will have strong bilingual skills in Japanese and English, and be familiar with factory operations, preferably in the food manufacturing industry. This role requires excellent translation and interpretation skills, along with an understanding of production
workflows, ensuring smooth communication and operational efficiency across the organization.Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as the primary liaison between the Director and local staff, translating and interpreting daily communications (both written and verbal) from Japanese to English and vice versa.
2. Facilitate meetings, presentations, and discussions between the Japanese management team and local employees, ensuring accurate communication.
3. Assist the Director in preparing and reviewing documents, reports, and correspondence in both languages.
4. Support the Director in day-to-day operations by coordinating with various departments such as production, quality control, and logistics.
5. Translate factory operational guidelines, safety protocols, and other critical documents into Japanese or English as needed.
6. Ensure that the Director is kept informed about key local developments in factory operations, helping bridge cultural and language gaps.
7. Assist with any other communication-related tasks as required by the Director.Qualifications:
1. Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Translation, or Industrial Engineering.
2. Native or near-native proficiency in both Japanese and English (spoken and written).
3. Familiarity with factory operations or manufacturing processes, preferably in the food industry.
4. Previous experience working in a manufacturing or factory environment is an advantage.Minimum Work Experience:
1. At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, providing translation and communication support in a corporate or industrial setting.
2. Experience working in cross-cultural environments, with an understanding of both Japanese and Malaysian business practices.Skills:
1. Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English.
2. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
3. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
4. Familiarity with translation and interpretation tools is an advantage.
5.
