Japanese Speaking Senior Engineer
Job Description
Our client is a well-known and established Japanese metal parts manufacturing in Johor Bahru.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Location: Johor Bahru, Johor
To report to Managing Director.
To oversee maintenance schedules for machinery repairs and troubleshooting.
To implement and monitor quality control to ensure product meets industry standards and customer specifications.
To collaborate with quality assurance team to address any non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
To gather and analyse production data related to process to prepare monthly MBO reports.
To optimise and improve production process.
To implement best practices.
To improve safety culture, protocols, conduct audit and prepare monthly safety report.
To transfer safety and technical related knowledge from Japan to local.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent, preferably graduated from Japan.
3-5 years of experience, with experience in 5S, KAIZEN, production process, machinery and equipment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to adapt to changes of production requirements.
Proficient in Japanese language both written and speaking, preferably with JLPT N1 level.
