You will gain in-depth knowledge of Cisco products and work with various elements of the service chain. This role offers a great opportunity to expand your technical expertise and develop customer relationship management skills while providing value through post-sale services.Responsibilities:

• Work with global customers and cross-functional Cisco teams to solve moderate to high-complexity network and product issues.
• Utilize databases, debugging tools, and lab simulations to analyze problems and identify solutions with high customer satisfaction.
• Stay up-to-date on technology trends/products to provide high-quality support to customers.

Who You Are:As a Japanese Technical Consulting Engineer specializing in the Security domain, you have the technical expertise and customer service skills to deliver quality support. You possess:Technical Knowledge/Experience in:

• Email and Web Security, VPN, Firewall, AMP, AAA, and Cisco Secure Firewall Firepower 7.0.
• NAT, ALG, HA, IDS/IPS.
• AAA technologies such as RADIUS, TACACS, DOT1X.
• VPN technologies such as IKEv1, IKEv2, PKI, SSL VPN, NHRP, GRE over IPsec, and Remote Access VPN Clients.
• Strong understanding of routing & switching concepts.
• Deep knowledge of the OSI model & protocols such as ARP, TCP, IP, DHCP, DNS, IPSEC, ISAKMP.
• Experience using Wireshark.
• Familiarity with programming languages like Python.

Skills:

• Experience in a customer support environment with excellent customer-handling skills.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a logical, analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Solid technical foundation in networking, with a CCNA or higher certification preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Engineering.
• 3-6 years of experience with security technologies, preferably Cisco.
• 3+ years of support experience with proven troubleshooting skills in complex environments.
• Cisco Security Certifications such as CCNA Security, CCNP Security, or CCIE Security are a plus.
• Knowledge of Linux and VMware is an advantage.
• Experience working with Cisco products like IOS/IOS-XE routers, ASA, FTD is beneficial.
• Effective communication skills in English, with proficiency in additional languages as a bonus.
• A passion for learning and working in a multicultural team environment.
