Job Summary
As a Java Developer, will be responsible for developing high-quality backend systems and applications using Java and related technologies. Will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, maintainable, and efficient code that powers mission-critical services and business operations.
Responsibilities & Duties
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and systems. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software. Participate in system design and architectural decisions. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and web services. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues. Perform unit and integration testing to ensure software quality. Follow Agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices and technical documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in Java development. Proficiency in
Java (8 or above)
and object-oriented programming concepts. Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data). Good understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB). Experience with version control systems (Git).About Encora
