Role : Java Consultant Employment Terms: Contract for 2-year with possibility of renewal or conversion but subjected to passing of probation at end of 1-year term. Working Hours: Mon to Thur: 8.30am to 6pm; Fri: 8.30am to 5.30pm Work Location : Singapore ***Exciting Benefits*** The job holder will be involved in the analysis, design, development, implementation and maintenance of Java application systems. They include the following \xe2\x80\xa2 Gather, analyse business requirements, and translate them into high level use cases \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare workflow, develop technical specifications, and conduct feasibilities studies \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare project plans and documentation according to standards and guidelines \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform coding and provide systems support, SIT, UAT and participates in all software development life cycle \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide user support through troubleshooting and timely resolution to address any incidents encountered \xe2\x80\xa2 Work closely with different stakeholders to ensure project success Requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 Degree in Computer Science or equivalent \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in design, development and maintenance of web based (Java platform) application system \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess strong technical knowledge in Java \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiar with frontend technologies such as HTML/HTML5, JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, CSS, JSON, XML \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong working experience in Open-source frameworks such as Struts, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Angular JS \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiar with J2EE middleware technologies such as Apache HTTP Server 2.4 and above, JBoss Application Server 6.4 and above \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in handling projects in the open systems
