NCR\xe2\x80\x99s Global Practice for Transaction Processing has opened with this position for its industry-leading Authentic Payments Switch. You will be part of the Professional Services team responsible for leading Product deployments, migrations, custom development, support, and other services to our customers globally. We are looking for a seasoned and hands-on Technical Lead who has prior experience in the Payments Switching industry. Key areas of expertise should include but are not limited to ATM Device Handlers, POS Device Handlers, Card scheme Interfaces, Customized Interfaces, Authorization, Switching / Routing, Message formats, Transaction types, Cryptography / HSMs, etc. Key Responsibilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide expert and prescriptive consultative services to the customers for their deployment/migration pursuits \xe2\x80\xa2 Lead the discovery sessions with the customers to crystalize their requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 Produce Fit-gap analysis, Product sizing(s), and deployment estimates as per the established methodology \xe2\x80\xa2 Lead the overall solution architecture & design, development, and deployment as per the customer requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinate the technical delivery while supervising and mentoring the assigned team \xe2\x80\xa2 Define the Test strategy and approach for the different QA phases like Integration Testing, Component Testing, Performance Testing, and Certifications. Act as SME on industry-standard Test simulators and Device-based testing \xe2\x80\xa2 Define the Deployment strategy of the solution while collaborating with the customer teams \xe2\x80\xa2 Produce detailed and high-quality documentation of the overall solution and the deliverables as per the established processes \xe2\x80\xa2 Lead the Disaster-Recovery planning, preparation/dry-runs, and execution. Knowledge of industry-standard D/R solutions like Golden-Gate would be a huge plus \xe2\x80\xa2 Lead onsite project training and hand-overs to the customers \xe2\x80\xa2 Post-go-live and Warranty support Qualification & Desired Experience \xe2\x80\xa2 Nine to Ten years of relevant experience in Information Technology. \xe2\x80\xa2 An excellent knowledge of the payments industry (at least 3 years, preferably 5 years) \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent knowledge and experience of programming in Java on Real-Time OLTP Systems within an Eclipse environment (at least 3 years, preferably more) \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong working experience in application design \xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrable experience in understanding complex systems and estimating the impact and effort \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience of team leadership and technical mentoring to a team \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent knowledge of databases, preferably Oracle (at least 3 years) \xe2\x80\xa2 Quality mindset \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent communication and personal skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Good knowledge of PCI and PA-DSS requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 Must be willing to work in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Note: Must be willing to travel both nationally and internationally.
