Senior Jewellery Polisher

to join our production team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional expertise in all aspects of jewellery polishing, ensuring the highest standards of finish for a wide range of precious metals and gemstones. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, a deep understanding of various polishing techniques, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a high-quality production environment.

Job Responsibility |

Perform expert polishing and finishing on a diverse range of fine jewellery pieces that made from gold, platinum, silver, and other precious metals. ?????????????????????????????????????*
Achieve superior mirror-finish quality on all surfaces, ensuring consistency and removal of all scratches, marks, and imperfections without compromising design details. ???????????????????????????????????????????????*
Work skillfully with various polishing compounds, wheels, and machinery, selecting the appropriate tools and techniques for different materials and stages of polishing. ?????????????????????????????????????????*
Conduct thorough quality checks before and after polishing, identifying and addressing any issues to meet stringent quality control standards. ??????????????????????????????????????*
Maintain all polishing equipment and tools in excellent working condition, ensuring cleanliness and proper handling to prevent damage or contamination. ???????????????????????????????????????*
Adhere to all safety protocols and best practices in the workshop, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper waste disposal. ??????????????????????????PPE????????????*
Collaborate with jewellers and setters to understand specific finishing requirements and provide feedback on design for optimal polishing outcomes. ??????????????????????????????????????*
Assist in training junior polishers or apprentices, sharing knowledge of advanced techniques and best practices. ???????????????????????????*

Job Requirements |

Minimum of 5-8 years of dedicated experience as a Jewellery Polisher in a fine jewellery manufacturing or workshop environment. ??5-8???????????????????????????*
Proven ability to achieve extremely high-quality finishes on complex jewellery designs and various precious metals. ????????????????????????????????*
In-depth knowledge of different polishing techniques, abrasives, compounds, and machinery. ?????????????????????????*
Exceptional manual dexterity, precision, and an eagle eye for detail. ????????????????????????*
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain productivity. ???????????????????????*
Strong commitment to quality and craftsmanship. ????????????*
Basic understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes is a plus. ????????????????*

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
