About the Role

We're seeking an experienced

Senior Network Engineer

to join our client's IT team. The ideal candidate will take charge of configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure -- including Wi-Fi, switching, cabling, and security systems. This position requires strong hands-on experience with

Cisco

and

Palo Alto

technologies, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams.

Key Responsibilities

Wi-Fi

Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot

Cisco WLCs

and

Access Points

Resolve performance, speed, and coverage issues Monitor and manage networks via

Cisco Prime Infrastructure

Perform periodic configuration backups and apply security patches

Switching

Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot

Cisco core, distribution, access

, and

top-of-rack switches

Monitor and manage using

Cisco Prime Infrastructure

Perform regular configuration backups and updates

Cabling

Identify and resolve faulty

copper and fiber

cabling issues Supervise and guide cabling vendors during repairs

Network Security

Manage

authentication and authorization

(campus Wi-Fi, guest Wi-Fi, VPN, network access) using

Cisco ISE

Configure and maintain policies on

Palo Alto

and

Cisco Firepower firewalls

Maintain

ACLs

on LAN devices and ensure timely backups and patching

Documentation

Maintain accurate

inventory, configuration

, and

change documentation

Handle

support cases

,

warranty claims

, and

vendor coordination

Create and update

SOPs

and

How-To guides

for both users and IT staff

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in

Network Engineering

,

MIS

,

Computer Science

, or a related field Minimum

5 years of hands-on experience

in network engineering Proven expertise with

Cisco

and

Palo Alto

technologies Strong

problem-solving

,

communication

, and

analytical

skills Proactive learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies Proficient in

English

(Mandarin is an advantage)

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Flexible Hours)
