Job Description

• Handle day-to-day data management and data analysis
• Involves in system and data planning, organizing, implementation and training to have better data management and analyst
• Undertake financial analysis that supports performance-based financial reporting.
• Use information and analysis to generate ideas and areas of focus for improvement in financial performance.
• Analyze key business drivers, understanding how processes are impacting financials and what steps can be taken to effect any necessary changes.
• Provide input into the development of segmentation analysis.
• Perform analysis to support review of overhead costs.
• Prepare detailed and comprehensive financial documentation which allows review and audit.
• Provide input into the budgeting and forecasting process:
• Contribute to the preparation of the annual budget and the monthly forecasts.
• Analyze and monitor value drivers within the annual plan.
• Monitor KPI benchmarks and periodic targets.
• Design and develop analytical and financial modelling tools/systems such as Microsoft Power BI/ Tableau
• Facilitate financial review of business performance through the development of financial evaluation techniques.
• Improve operation, and customer retention, deduct purchase costs, enhance employee engagement, and maximize the outcome of marketing and related.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and support analysis to all departments as requested.

Qualifications and Experience

• Preferably in an Applied Math discipline such as Statistics, Business Analytics, Econometrics, Data Science, or other similar quantitative analysis subjects.
• Quantitative analysis background with 1-3 years of experience using data to solve problems and operations issues.
• SQL/Python/Assess/Excel experience, querying large and complex data sets and building effective visualizations using Power BI
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Diligent, organized and meticulous
• Thrives in a fast pace, constantly changing environment
• Willing to learn
• Familiar with excel and BI software (ex. Tableau, Power BI)
• A self-starter and ability to work independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Malay.
• Good interpersonal skills, ethical approach to practice, well-groomed with a pleasant personality
• Positive attitude, passionate about collaborative teamwork, excel at interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
• Able to work long hours or to do shift work as and when required.
