Job Title: Junior Accounting Assistant

Location: Bangsar/Sunway (on-site)

Position Summary:

The Junior Accounting Assistant will be part of the finance team, supporting daily accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities:

Handling accounting data entry and bookkeeping. Maintaining and recording supplier invoices and payments. Matching accounting data. Checking payment status and updating customers. Processing payments and updating service providers. Assisting with monthly reconciliation of financial statements. Recording expense claims and petty cash transactions. Maintaining proper filing of accounting documents. Undertaking other accounting-related tasks as required.

Requirements:

Fluency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. 2 years and above experience in Account/Auditing. Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including financial formulas and spreadsheets). Good data entry skills with the ability to identify numerical errors. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. A strong sense of responsibility and a positive working attitude.
